Harry Styles. What more is there to say really.
Not only is this man funny, charismatic, charming, but this boy knows how to dress himself.
From Met gala looks, to tour suits, to a colourful printed cardigan he can just never seem to get it wrong. No one else can pull off purple and yellow like this man can.
In this article I am not even daring to rank the outfits Harry has worn, because I just don't see how I could do that. However, we will be analysing and highlighting some under appreciated looks.
Met Gala, Afterparty - 2019
Now Harry Styles went down in history for his Gucci red carpet look, the sheer black shirt, and black trousers, but it is the after parry look that I was most interested in. This look played homage to the romantic movement in 80's London. But why do I like this outfit you may ask? Well even though to some he may look like a clown, which yes to a certain extent he does, its the high-waisted pant that does it ✨ for me ✨. The rugged, yet precise and clean silhouette was a standout moment, whilst also giving us a little insight into Harry's fun nature as well.
Now most of us probably know Harry for his bold and colourful suits. But sometimes the minimalist suits are just as eye-catching as the others.
Madrid - 31/03/18
I absolutely love this suit because of how fashion forward it is. A trend that has recently come into the public eye is of course, the cropped blazer, and Harry Styles was wearing it in 2018, 2 years before it was even a "thing", as such. Another thing that Im so in love with is the white accents on the collar, the buttons, and the stripe down the side of the leg. I think this really brightens the suit, and makes the monochromatic pattern stand out even more. Well done Mr Styles, you've done it again
Paris - 13/03/18
Still on the subject of minimalist, yet effective suits, his Paris suit (by Saint Laurent), really fits the category. the all black outlook really accentuates, not only his figure but also allows the sparkle of the suit to really shine. Black is a very rock-and-roll colour, which really resembles Harry's style of music, yet also the sparkle of the suit allows him to put his own stamp on fashion, and make it his own, which I am here for !
Dallas, TX - 07/06/18
The first suit I ever saw photos of Harry in were of the Dallas suit. The bright striking colours of the pink, mixed with the flower embroidery, really caught my eye, and I automatically fell in love. How can you not. I just think the basic concept of a pink suit, with a white shirt, is so classic yet playful and fun, and something that I can only see Harry wearing. I think the white shirt also allows the flower pattern, and the pink to pop more, and stand out even better on stage.

I think the most meaningful suit Harry has worn is of course the first night of Maddison Square Garden. This suit is a homage, and reminds me so much, of the floral suit he wore to the AMA'S in 2015, whilst with the 1D boys. Even though Harry has openly spoken up about how much he regrets wearing this suit, obviously a few years later he thought he would redeem himself, which he fedinietly did. What elevates this suit is of course the bell bottoms, which give it that extra "flare" (pun intended :)
Capital FM, Jingle Bell Ball - 2019
I was actually lucky enough to go and see harry's performance at the Jingle Bell, so I was indeed blessed to see this beautiful denim jumpsuit up close, and personal. It was just as beautiful as how the pictures portray it to be. What I love about it is, not only the tight fit of it, but also the clever decision to leave the chest open, so everyone could see his beautiful butterfly tattoo. This added another layer of "hotness" to the performance, especially when he went crazy and started dancing to WMYB. It was a brilliant time for a directioner to be alive. However, I also love how Harry gets his inspiration from none other than style Queen, Sir Elton John. It is known to the world that Harry takes inspo from how Elton dressed, yet he manages to put a modern spin on it, which is what makes him unique, and fashion forward.
Now I have saved the best suit for last. It is the one I don't think people appreciate as much as they should do, and we need to give it more recognition !
KIWI Music Video - 08/11/17
Now this suit, is the King of all suits. This is a custom Gucci suit, and I am speechless. The patterns, the shape, the tailor, the fit, the colours, everything is just perfect. Not only is the suit itself killing it, but also the silk bow blouse underneath, and the Gucci fringed boots really make the suit what it is. I also absolutely love how Harry and Beau are both matching, showing how fashion can be applied for all ages and genders, and that fashion is whatever you make it to be.
Not only is this man revolutionising the fashion world, he is also inspiring generations to either recreate his actual looks, create looks based off his songs, or to more importantly, wear what expresses themselves. If Harry feels comfortable in tights then so can anyone, man or woman. He is changing the game, and I don't think anyone can really keep up with him.
I just wonder what's next ...
