Top 10 perfect present ideas for a Shopaholic: A Guide

Thegirlsclub

Now Summer is nearly over, the next gift-giving date is fast approaching, and I of course mean CHRISTMAS! Although I like to prepare super early for Christmas, this guide can be adaptable for both birthdays, and Christmas.

I absolutely love present shopping, and buying gifts for family and friends, I don't know why it just gives me a rush I guess, but I also love making a list for myself, and dreaming of all the presents I want to get, even though I never will.

Due to my obsessive shopaholic-like qualities, I always get asked about present ideas for others, or even what I am asking for. I always love watching YouTubers post about their Christmas/Birthday list to gain inspiration as there is literally EVERYTHING and ANYTHING out there for someone, its all about finding the perfect gift.

As I cannot telepathically contact you all into what to get for someones Birthday, I am going to give you some ideas of amazing presents that anybody would certainly love, well I would anyway :), especially if they love shopping and fashion like me!

  1. At number 1, of course, is the monthly VOGUE magazine subscription. This is honestly like the gift that keeps on giving. Every month the new issue of British Vogue pops through my letter box, and I am immediately entranced. The best part is, its not even as expensive as you think it would be, so this is definitely the best present

  2. GIFT CARDS. The older I get the more I realise how much I either want just money or gift cards for different shops that I know I love. Especially being a student, I need all the help I can get, so this will definitely be on my list this year.

  3. THEIR FAVOURITE PERFUME. This is always a winner, and you cannot go wring with this. Even if they already have loads of it, if it is their favourite then they will be in a forever supply mode. My personal favourite at the moment is either Libre by YSL, Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel or of course Dream by Arianna Grande

  4. Literally anything to do with Tiffany's, this can range from the colour itself, the movie, or even something from Tiffany's, (what a lucky friend you have). I can guarantee this will go down a storm with the recipient as that Tiffany Blue colour is mesmerising to us shopaholics.

  5. A Fashion/Shopping journal. This was one of the best presents I have ever received as now I can write down all my ideas, and put them in one place. It is something so small, yet so personal.

  6. A Makeup GiftSet. These are always best priced gifts, yet look so much as well. Every makeup and beauty brand always does these, and they are the perfect present for someone. My favourites at the moment have to be the Glossier sets, so cute, or of course the Charlotte Tilbury sets.

  7. A Designer Catwalk Coffee Book. These are not only a prefect decoration piece for the bedroom, or anywhere else, but they are also filled with some absolutely gorgeous pictures of past catwalks by the designer. They are always boxed and packaged so beautifully no wonder everyone who wants the perfect Pinterest house are buying these to have on display. The perfect duo to start off a collection are of course the Louis Vuitton, and Chanel couple.

  8. Makeup brushes. Need I say more. When I say everyone needs new makeup brushes, I am not exaggerating. I can never seem to have too many makeup brushes now, especially since I am at university I don't want to have to keep on lugging the same brushes back and forth, so another set is always very handy to have.

  9. Jewellery- be it a ring, necklace, bracelet or earrings. Jewellery has got to be one of my favourite presents to not only receive but also give, as I feel that it is such a personal accessory that one must always have on them, as when wearing the piece of jewellery you will always think of the person associated with it. Thats also the perfect thing with jewellery, the price never matters as it is always so personal and special, and a piece that will remain with someone forever.

  10. An finally of course, anything to do with their favourite designer or favourite shop. This can range from a keyring with the logo on, or a designer inspired picture, the sky is the limit with this one. Etsy do the most gorgeous designer inspired pieces that I know anyone would love to have, so have some fun researching and designing.
